R-02 The main utility must appear before unnecessary explanation
If a comparison table, product, price, calculator, booking or main result is what the user came for, it must not be buried under long filler.

Why it matters
Visitors who arrive for a price, a table or a tool leave when they have to scroll through padding to reach it. Search engines and AI answer engines also struggle to find the useful part of a page when it sits under filler, so the page is less likely to be used as the answer.
How to implement
- Identify the single job the page's main query asks for, such as comparing, pricing, calculating, buying or booking.
- Move that element to the top of the main content.
- Cut or shorten introductory filler that comes before it.
- Move methodology, background and supporting explanation below the main utility.
- Re-check the page on mobile to confirm the utility is still reached early.
Checklist
- For a comparison query, show the comparison table early.
- For a pricing query, show the price and conditions early.
- For a calculator query, show the tool early.
- For a product query, show the product, availability and fit early.
- For a recipe or how-to style task, show the required action or instruction early.
- Expand detail, methodology and supporting explanation later on the page.
How to audit
- Check that the main utility for the page's target query appears above the long explanatory text.
- Check that comparison tables, prices, tools and product details are not pushed down by filler.
- Check that detail, methodology and supporting explanation come after the main utility.
How UltimateSEO checks this automatically
This control needs human evidence: a review of whether the main utility (tool, table, answer, price) appears before explanatory preamble on key templates.
States used: PASS, FAIL, UNKNOWN, NOT_APPLICABLE or BLOCKED. UNKNOWN is never shown as a pass. How states work.
