Comparison page playbook

What the page must do

Follow the recommended comparison page structure (framework section 16.5). The table and verdict come early; evidence and methodology follow.

  • H1: A vs B: which is better for [real job or audience]?
  • Answer block: the main difference in 2 to 5 sentences, best for A, best for B, the main caveat, the checked date.
  • Early comparison table: price or plan basis, best for, key capability, important limit, setup, delivery or support where relevant, evidence or checked date where needed.

Then, in order:

  1. Methodology
  2. Who should choose A
  3. Who should choose B
  4. Criterion-by-criterion comparison
  5. Real tests, screenshots or first-party data if available
  6. Hidden costs and limitations
  7. Switching, migration, cancellation and returns
  8. FAQ only if useful to humans
  9. Sources, methodology and disclosures
  10. Contextual next action

No 700-word generic introduction before the comparison.
