M-10 Turn Bing AI Performance grounding queries into content decisions

Why it matters

Grounding queries show what the engine was actually looking for when it cited a page, which makes them useful for spotting unclear or weak sections. Treating them as a list of phrases to repeat leads to keyword stuffing, which damages the page for readers. Used as evidence, they point to where content needs to be clearer or better supported.

How to implement

1. List your top cited URLs and map the top grounding queries to each one.
2. Where a page is cited for a query you did not expect, check the relevant section for accuracy and clarity.
3. Where an indexed page is never cited for a strategic query, compare it with competitors on evidence and clarity.
4. Improve the content itself and do not add the queries to the page as repeated keywords.
